Black screen after running Update_FW4.gb on GB Jr

I've just brought an EZ Flash Jr and loaded the Update_FW4.gb file as the readme said.
It finished okay and told me to power off, but now when power on the screen is black.
any ideas?

How fast is your MicroSD card? You should at least use a Class 4 card with the Jr. Also you should check that the ezgb.dat is in the root directory of the MicroSD card.

It’s a sandisk ultra 64gb 10 Class.
Screen is totally blank on power up, regardless of what cartridge I put in it.
I’m guessing I’ve bricked it?
Is there any way to recover?

Replaced the batteries and all good now.
