ROM Hack Atelier Ryza PC mods work on Switch

Just thought I'd do a little psa for anyone interested in modding this game. (sorry if this is the wrong section)

If you make your own, or can get your hands on any mods (so far only texture or model swap), then to make it work with the switch you just need to rename the "x64" folder to "NX" so your structure should be "*titleId*\romfs\Data\NX\".

Also change the filenames to the correct casing as they are in the switch version, you might need some trial and error unless you unpack the original switch files to check.
For example "pc00e_model.g1t" needs to be named "PC00E_MODEL.g1t", some files might be different but I've renamed the entire "Character" folder from the pc version and they all work (I think it looks better but that could be a placebo effect). I tried using the PC video files and shader folders but that caused crashing on launch (which was expected tbh, I only renamed them after all).

I'm not really into modding Atelier games (just wanted to try the gyaru skin), but for those who are, test away.
If only someone could make the shadows better. :'(

Oh and I also removed the bottom left watermark that plagues screenshots, so that's nice.

@ginryu See details below on how i did it for Choco (Grayu) skin;

ON PC

1. Download @YXSzzzz mega pack
2. Picked PC00E Choco (Gyaru) > With Jacket > No Shorts Side > No Tattoo
3. Rename file to upper case

ON SWITCH

1. Created the following folder
2. SDroot\\Atmosphere\titles\0100D1900EC80000\romfs\Data\NX\Character\PC00E\
3. Copy the file 'PC00E_MODEL.g1t' from PC to the folder above on the switch

IN GAME

1. Run Atelier Ryza
2. Go to Changing Room
3. Select Midnight Black

For any other skin, refer to the Costume ID 服裝ID.txt file that came with the zip file

Slightly off-topic;

How do you unlock Ryza's outfit 'divertimento embrace'?
i installed the dlc but in the "Changing Room", i do not get the option to pick that outfit... i'm about 3 hours into the game

Update: I've tried multiple skins (Klaudia / Lila / Ryza) and they worked except for any Ryza skin that used Divertimento Embrace outfit as base

I need to figure out how to unlock that outfit first; its a pre-order bonus and there is no actual .nsp to install

Glad to see other people are getting mods to work, if you're having trouble I'd say check the exact file/folder names. Even the "character" folder from pc mods needs to be capitalised to "Character".
@HoTsHoTz79 I think I had that model replace the default outfit for Ryza as my test mod. But I'm not sure if it's unlocked or not for me.

ED: Turns out I do have it unlocked in game, I'm using the neko swimsuit mod over it. I've got 9 dlc installed and they all activated the first time I visited Ryza's room. Maybe you are missing one of those dlc?

yea i'm definitely missing it... i tried neko swimsuit black and white and it comes up glitchy (screenshot attached)

I checked in tinfoil and it shows i've got the following installed;
1. Base game
2. DLC - Summer Adventure
3. DLC - Another Fashion
4. DLC - Summer Style
5. DLC - Initial Dash
6. DLC - Large Rebuild Gem Pack
7. DLC - Pixie Forest
8. DLC - Lakeside Hideout

Thats 7 dlc in total

I installed the base thru hbgshop and selected "include all DLC" and even tho it added Divermento dlc ... it doesn't show up, so not sure how to get that installed

I don't use hbgshop, but even on tinfoil I never use the install all DLC option, it never works properly for me so I always do it one by one.

I can't say which ones I have, since I don't have names, only ID's. But you are definitely missing Divermento and one other dlc.

Ah I see, yeah you need the model file, which is in the base game files, so I was using them anyway as I'd extracted my nsp, but the mods only include the texture.

There's even more dlc just launched with the new update, seems to be mostly the weapon skins and some battle/levelcap stuff.

No sadly not, only file replacement mods, nothing that needs extra files or dll's like reshade.
