Any way to change the region of a Wii save?

I figured as much, since the savedata was even more blank in the pal save you uploaded. I was unable to test the save, so try this, not sure if it will work or not:

damn, I'm not sure how to do it, it may be impossible without re or having the source code for the save. I was unable to find the title id in either save, I assume that's where it's reading that from.

aaaaa ok, is this behavior brand new or something you have experienced before with changing save regions?

I've never experienced it, but I do know that some games simply don't work. it seemed like a good candidate for one that would, since I think all four files are the same size. this one, I replaced the header, but I guess it corrupted it.

I did try to ask someone on the Riiconnect24 discord server about changing the save region for mkw and they also got the same error when trying to. But they did find something idk if it is useful tho

So a guy from the Riiconnect 24 discord server found a tool online that changes the region for the save
https://www.tt-rec.com/ghostmanager/ on this website you take the save file and in this case, I wanted to take the NTSC save file and make it work on the PAL version of the game

So what you do is take the rksys.dat file from the NTSC save that I got from extracting and put it on the upload it to the website and then change the region as shown here on the picture to EU and simply download the file.

After that take your PAL save that you also extracted which in my case is a clean save with 1 cup completed
and just paste the downloaded file into the folder of the PAL save on the SD card.
Take the SD card back into the Wii and install the save from Save manager GX and start the PAL version of Mario Kart Wii

And now the NTSC save should be on the profile select screen with 1 cup completed

All I can say is that it worked for me and it also works the other way around like PAL to NTSC etc
So I can safely say that this issue is RESOLVED
