Hi! I know how to replace the speakers on a 3DS XL, so that is not the question.
The question is, I am attempting to install different speakers in the hope of increasing volume output. Is this possible without soldering on an amp somewhere as well? And if that were the case, is there an amp anywhere that would be usable in this case? I've done the GBA amp mod, so I know how to do it; I'm just hoping to replicate that effect with a 3DS XL. And if all I need is a new set of speakers, does anyone know which speakers would have the best results? I heard on Reddit that you're able to use replacement Nintendo Switch speakers instead of 3DS XL ones. Would those be any better, or are they practically the same?
