3ds usb Type C mod

My 3ds is a bit messed up

When I plugged in the charging cable the orange light turns on and even when I unplugged it the light won't go off unless I remove the battery....it is not charging but if I use it while plugged it won't drain battery whole lot less...I can charge the battery with external charger so battery is also ok

I disassemble and check to see if there are any faulty connection at charging port and apparently there are none...and I found some thread saying it might be because of faulty inductor...

I also test my charger with meter and it shows over 4V but when I plugged it to my 3ds and test it from battery terminal it only show 1 volt

I m thinking of modding it with type c I can only know if it is faulty charging port or not by testing it....but the thing is I could only buy 2 types of module

First one is Abit large but it charge with 1A rating and second one is smaller but it is 2A charge....I m wondering should I try to mod with second one? Might there be electrical hazard or should I just use the first one...please help me out?

There is a guy in Australia that does capture card install that also do USB C charging port but Im not sure what chip he use.
