Hardware 3Ds sound cutting off

I've gotten homebrew onto my 3Ds but now my sound is cutting off everytime I ether turn it on or leave things like settings, what happened and how can I fix this?

    I just dislike that they don't let me choose the voices before the game starts. Happened with botw as well, had to change to japanese and restart.
