Hacking 3ds freeze when turned on with r4

if i start the 3ds with the r4igold 2013 (I bought it in 2014 and it has always worked fine) it give a completely black screen with blue light. It freezes basically everywhere, if for example i am on the console settings or in the home menu , when i put the card (even without sd card) it freezes the only thing that not freezes is the music(and some ui elements), i tried everything and i sincerely need help please. P.S. My 3ds is not modded at all

My favorite method: Process of elimination.

• Try your R4 clone in another DS system, preferably a DS Lite or the very first DS model ("phat")
• Try another, known to work R4 in your 3DS

(I'm always fearing to get the usual "I don't have […]" at this point)

Notice that physical precision of flashcarts is often lower than those of genuine (3)DS games. R4s also tend to fail without any apparent reason sometimes.

Consider installing B9S on your 3DS and using TWiLight Menu++ for DS games.

now that I remember it was the twilight menu(flashcard version) that caused the problem, (I followed a tutorial and I also checked if my r4 was compatible and it was) after downloading it and inserting it in the root of the sd card, when I plugged into the 3ds it said "loading" endlessly, i rebooted and from this point on, it started freezing. before inserting twilight I had made a backup of the old firmware on my computer, after these freezes I copied everything to the sd card but it didn't help
