3ds cant download anything

my 3ds just gives a error when downloading stuff i just need a quick answer this is on the old 3ds

why would it be? luma has firm write protection. Ya wont lose cfw doing that.

Downloading stuff from where? The eShop? Remote downloading with Fbi? Ftp'ing with FTPD?
