    I have such crappy internet... I started downloading the 80GB+ update of RDR2 this morning. 8PM and still downloading with only 47GB... ;-;

    I get 120KB/s roughly through my satellite provider (unthrottled is about 6MB/s but i'm throttled for more than 3/4 of a month, data caps suck). That would take me ~8.5 whole days, assuming i get full 120KB/s without interruptions the whole time

You have WAY better than average internet, this is just being spoiled:P Here most of the time I'll never get more than 300KB/s with average being around 260KB/s... I spent almost 3 days downloading MHWorld when it was out for example, you can wait a little if it's just a game and not something important

    I'm not being spoiled. Most of my friends get like 20-30MB/s. Compared to that, my internet is a potato in those terms.

    Apparently, the game uses Denuvo 4.9 which is already crackable. So you may be in luck there, haha.

    I could play a game on the lowest settings despite being able to play them at high settings. I look at gameplay and story. Graphics is just a side thing for me.

    I don't care about graphics at all. When playing on PC, I don't really have a choice anyway, since mine is so weak. The only thing I want is to play at my monitor's native settings (ie: at 768p 60fps).

    Personally, I care more about the style and presentation of the game more than the graphical fidelity and how "realistic" it may look. A game with great graphics can have horrible presentation.

    On a related note, it's not actually completely Electron's fault. In fact, based on my research and debugging, it's like ~85% the frontend devs' fault. They designed the layout in a way so that the poor IPC renderer has to redraw THE ENTIRE SCREEN when you scroll. Not just the scrolled area, THE ENTIRE SCREEN IS WIPED AND REDRAWN. This is due to the very ass CSS + HTML combo they hacked together.

    My status has become a discussion of how poor Discord is made. Yeah, I can get behind that. Although, better than Skype by a mile. I mean, it was okay... Until their new update pretty much dug their own grave. Fucking hell...
