Waiting for the day that game optimization becomes cool again amongst dev teams and we don’t have to keep spending thousands on GPUs that won’t last even 20% of a human’s expected lifespan
2011 is incredibly undiscussed as a year for games… Arkham city, skyward sword, portal 2, Mario 3D land, Skyrim, saints row the third, uncharted 3, dead space 2, dark souls, sonic generations, terraria, rayman origins, ocarina of time 3D, gears of war 3
“Early access” games feel way too common. Especially for the amount of them that stay in early access for 2+ years, bring back releasing finished games instead of just gradually finishing your game with updates
As a kid I never got an explanation about company buyouts, so my thought process was something like "If someone is paying a company to own it, won't that guy just get all the money straight back since they're going to own the company?" And for the longest time I just thought I was a completely useless/nonsensical process
