It will probably be exactly like the vote for Pai's reconfirmation, with the FCC getting the Senate's official approval

@ThisIsDaAccount We shall see. Net Neutrality repeal is wildly unpopular. Even marijuana legalization only has ~60% support in this country, Net Neutrality has ~80% support. Trump loyalists are torn on this issue like they've never been before. Some just want to gloat over "librul tears," while others at least recognize that this undemocratic coup will hurt them as much as anybody else.

@Sonic Angel Knight It was a lot of fun. I went to see Boise State vs Oregon Ducks in the Las Vegas Bowl. I'm a BSU Broncos fan and they stomped the Ducks. I even won money on the game and several NFL games. Came out ahead a couple hundred the first two nights in blackjack as well, but overplayed it the last night and lost pretty much everything. Only went with like $300 to spend in the beginning though, so it could've been a lot worse.

@Xzi The problem is that there are 4 Democratic Senators that support Pai (the 4 that voted for his reconfirmation). The Senate is currently split 52-48 Republican-Democrat, with 4 Senators in the Dem side crossing over in favor of Pai, and only one Republicab Senator (as far as I know) being against him. Looking at the best case scenario, which would be the newly elected Dem Senator from Alabama Doug Jones arriving at the Senate before the vote, we're looking at a 54-46 vote in the Senate in favor of the repeal.

And then, even if it passes the Senate, it has to pass the House.

I don't mean to be a pessimist, since I would love to be wrong, but the math doesn't seem to be on our side.

@ThisIsDaAccount Fair points to make. It does give me more hope that Net Neutrality repeal may be overturned in the near future if 2018 goes mostly blue, though.
