Shortly after buying Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite, my d-pad busted (not the first time, the Dual Shock 4 is garbage), and I didn't have any replacement parts on hand, so I swapped the contact pad out for the DS3 one (does not fit properly, but allows the rest of the control to function without random inputs).
As such, I haven't really been playing any games, as most of what I play requires the d-pad. I did buy Mortal Kombat 11 since it was on sale for $15, and they just released two classic characters that I like as DLC (which I will never buy). Mortal Kombat is great, though I'm not good enough to fully take advantages of the changes from MKX.
I also held off on some other potential impulse purchases since I dropped the big bucks to preorder a PS4 copy of Densha De Go!! (an arcade game about driving trains), which came out today! I was able to play a little bit tonight (I work about 18 hours a day, but took one off to try out the game).
Hopefully I'll get to play enough and take some screenshots to do a proper review, but so far I can say it is surprisingly well-done (not just a half-assed arcade port). I'd also like to do a translation guide, which should be easy, as the game is simple once you get past the basic particulars. In the meantime if anyone has any questions about the title, feel free to ask.
