Here goes my uninteresting story:
For years, I've been a racing game freak. I like every single racing game, even the worst ones. I play from fantasy to simulation.
Well, for fantasy racing games, I'm cool. I have Mario Kart, Sonic and Sega, etc etc. There is no need of powerfull hardware to play these kind of games, and I have a lot of nintendo video games, wich is enouth for fantasy r-games, but, obviously, It is not enouth for hadcore simulation.
I have an old PC, and I use it for racing simulation. It is a Core 2 Duo that can't handle nothing above GTR - FIA GT Racing Game. My wheel is this old shit (with an USB adapter):
When I want to play something new, I use my cousin's xbox (game pad) or my friend's PS3 (G27).
Now I want to change this and buy my own gear. I'm thinking in two possibilities:
1- Assemble my own computer with Intel i7 + Nvdia GTX 660ti + G27 (cause I love this wheel): No forza, but there is a lot of good games, and iRacing too. In Brazil, it costs about US 600.00 more than the other option
2- Buy a XBOX 360 + Fantec (G27 is not suported without adapter) + Forza (cause I love this game): It is cheaper, but I'll not be able to use my favourite gear (G27) but I'll be able to play old sim-games on my old computer, and forza, of course. (Almost every Xbox selled here in Sao Paulo downtown is modded, so I'll get some good games as a "gift")
2- Xbox one + Forza 5
For cockpit I'll use this one:
I'll tell more about how it will workout. Fell free to share your thoughts!
