So I'm back from my little vacation to the beach.

First the downers.

It stormed the first half of the week, so the rain made it too cold to swim during the second half anyways... but I'm moving there in a few months so I'll be able to swim again soon enough.
The guy I made an appointment with at the hosting company for a screening moved onto another job and the new HR lady didn't have most of my information so we went through what would normally be the phone screening process as well, but after a little Q&A she gave me her card and told me to call once I move down there to make an appointment for the actual interview.

Now the fun stuff.

My dad's new friend is a trip, very entertaining.
- While I was getting dressed for the meeting at my dad's friend's house (since it was closer), my dad's friend told me the shirt I was going to wear wasn't good enough, so he grabbed a shirt for me to try on. He handed it to me and said "This is my pimp shirt."
- He got his back hurt recently, and while I was giving him a ride to get his medication, he was talking to another friend of his on the phone, updating her on his condition. His main complaint was "I can't fuck properly like this!"
Kittens EVERYWHERE. My dad's friend's cat had a litter and my dad's cat had one too, so I got to play with plenty of kittens while I was there. That was an upper in exchange for not being able to swim, I suppose. XD
Got the dock for my tablet. It's got it's ups and downs, but it's mostly ups. I couldn't find it in the same color as my tablet, so now I've got a silver tablet with a dark purple keyboard/dock. XD But hey, function over form at times.
Did some computer work while I was down there for some guy I haven't seen in a while, he gave me a 360 in return since he wasn't using it. Hot damn. No controller though, but that's an easy fix compared to the whole console.
