It's amazing how something so small can occupy so much of your heart, but that's exactly what Max did. A little under 5 years ago Max came into my life and he came into it at just the right time and has helped me through a lot. Every day I could always rely on his smiling face looking at me making me feel just that little bit better. He asked for so little but always gave so much, even when this last year he was battling through his own injury and sickness.
He was an amazing animal and I know there will never be another one quite like him. He was truly one of a kind and I will always smile when thinking about him, see one of his pictures or videos.
You may see just a guinea pig, but I see a true companion and friend and he will always live on in my heart and the hearts of those that he met.
Max, little buddy, we will always miss you.
