Care to elaborate?

I wasn't even aware of the Tinkerboard until today, and now I'm curious and intrigued. Your review was counterproductive. Or was it reverse psychology marketing for the Tinkerboard? I'm onto you

Maybe a lot of people that have buyed one of these are made maybe the "mistake of thinking" it is equal than an Raspberry Pi.

I've heard of it myself when I was in the market for a SBC and went with the ODroid XU4 after good word of mouth online (especially it's support of DC, NAOMI, and Atomiswave) about its capabilities compared to the Raspberry Pi 3 at the time. I remember reading that the Tinker Board was impressive spec-wise, but the software support, especially because of how much more cost prohibitive it was, was even worse than the XU4 could be at times unless if you didn't mind using Discord!

With the RPi 4 finally on the market, IDK how it will end up stacking against the XU4, but I guess we'll wait to find out.

Yes, the software support is egregious. I just simply can't get most things to work, particularly the desktop environment. A micro usb power supply is required, and so are heat sinks. This wouldn't be too much of a problem if it actually came with either of this, but mine did not. So after hours of fiddling just to get the damn thing to run, I began fiddling just to get half the applications that came with their custom debian os to work, fruitlessly. Not to mention that chromium, if updated from the version provided, does not work and crashes upon start. This is particularly frustrating when trying to update other software. The wifi disconnects sometimes, and my whole system freezes when I plug in my xbox one controller. Tried another one and it worked, but both my controllers work on my desktop so I don't know what the issue is. Hotkeys don't work, and trying to open setup hotkeys is met with an error. I've spent hours upon hours just trying to get the damn thing to work out-of-box, to no avail. I've put almost $100 into this piece of crap. I'm sure it performs well, when it works. But I simply do not want to invest any more time into it. Will gladly sell it for 20USD if anyone wants to take it off my hands.
