Added quite a bit of stuff since last time. Forest canopy overlay, stamina meter/sprinting, mini map, Crimson Vice defense soldier, shotgun weapon, assault rifle weapon, and some other minor stuff. The stamina meter drains when you run (Using the Shift key), and won't refill unless you stand...
Added the HUD, which displays how much health you have, along with what weapon you have, and how much ammo it has. You pick up weapons from small deposits, and you cannot pick up another weapon until your current one is out of ammo.
There will be different types of weapons, such as guns...
Serenity is an 2D, top-down, exploration/adventure game. The world itself is free-roam, and will contain a lot of different areas, from forests, to swamps, to deep jungles. I kind of want to have the game be enemy-less, but have environmental obstacles and hazards instead.
Anyway, the game is...
- Added a little pond.
- Added lily pads.
- Added water sun glare things (Not sure what the actual term is).
- Made it so the HUD disappears when you're standing still.
- Added godrays into the actual game (They were only on the title screen before)
- Added time-based godrays and sun shading to the title screen
- Added a hoe and seeds as a start to farming.
- Tweaked tree sprites. Trunks are shaded better, and pine trees are rounded.
- Added pine, willow, and dead trees
- Added ferns
- Added secret weather effect that I don't want to reveal.

As you can see in the screenshot, I've been working on a new area called Mothwood Swamp. Mossy/hanging vine trees, lilypads, and cat tails are the main plants found in the swamp, but some areas will have mushrooms, flowers, and other plants as well.

I've added sunrays (I took the sprite from my Zelda game, but I did make the sprite myself, along with the rain and other things I took from it) that show whenever it's sunny. They change direction/opacity/color depending on the time of day as well...

So anyways, I've been trying to find a way to get money so I can get both Modern Warfare 3 and Super Mario 3D Land at launch, but until last night, I wasn't going to be able to. So I'm downstairs...

Anyway, Gears of War 3...I went to the midnight launch Monday night, and there weren't as many people as I thought there'd be. WAY less than Halo: Reach and MW2's midnight...
So...Gears of War 3. Like 4 days left. I'm pretty excited about it, as the beta was awesome, and seeing as I loved Gears 2, I'm sure I'll love this one. Me and 3 friends are gonna be going to my local GameStop's midnight launch for it, and according to one of the employees I was talking to...

Ever since I dropped out of school (I'd rather not get into details, so please don't ask about it), my life has just felt lackluster and boring. I regret dropping out, but nothing I can really do now, aside from taking the GED test and possibly going to college. I need to get a job as well...

I just dislike that they don't let me choose the voices before the game starts. Happened with botw as well, had to change to japanese and restart. -
