    Okay so I finally got it to turn on! I've basically unplugged the LED battery indicator's ribbon cable and plugged back in, it is now booting up!! At least I can use it this way for now!!!

    No, it wouldn't have any effect on anything except your trophies. They are going to disappear from your device. Please note that if you have synced trophies online then you can't delete them from PSN (you can only delete the ones that have 0% completion).
