@x65943 Competitively? For sure, yeah.
Singleplayer wise? It's actually the best, sadly. It's the only one to have a proper 'adventure mode' (Ultimate's World of Light...exists, but it's not nearly as interesting as Subspace Emissary), and its Classic and All-Star Modes rock.

I can agree there, and the theme is really good too. I think after project M fixed all the blinders it's nearly perfect

30+ years old VHS recording: Bad quality, worn → Works!
2 years old digital recording: Encrypted and tied to the TV which died for no reason → Gone!

That said, very old tapes started disintegrating by now and might grind themselves off faster leaving dirt on the video heads.

I mainly use a PCI card with DVB-S2 for unencrypted(!) dumps of the MPEG-2 and h.264 transport streams nowadays.

well, vhs recorder was kind of shortcut. I got inspired by Manuellasparkles. ;] It would be hard to record HD image on vhs i guess. I'll try to stream from stb via lan and capture on vlc player or record on pendrive.

Yes, we all should choose unencrypted sources, but Hello Spank is only on italia 1, I don't have any choice.

You might want to check the various changelogs, but off the top of my head:
SLC and MLC dump and restore, to fix corrupted nands,
Aroma CFW compatibility,
And redNand support to make consoles work and boot from the SD, even with completely dead nands.

Also that same Andrei on Twitter showed a solderless install and a system title reinstall recovery feature.
