Homebrew ZXDS on dsi with Acekard 2i

Hi All
Got a few Q's to ask.
1) Can the d-pad be made to work i have followed the instructions on configuring keys it does'nt seem newbie freindly unless it's me doing someting wrong.
2) Can one of you kind people put up a tutorial for us newbie's so we can get it work right..
So now this is what i have done.
1) Downloaded ZXDS a few time's.
2) Reformatted the sd card with the sd card formatter.
3) Got the whole system updated.
4) Tried to configure keys again to use d-pad the only key that worked was up = fire which is not what it should have done. Should of move spaceman up.
5) The game i am trying to get working fully is jetpac 48k one.

Tap "Controls" to access the controls.
Tap "Kempston" to map d-pad to kempston joystick.
Tap "Keyboard" to switch back to the proper keyboard, if you wish.
Tap 4 on the keyboard to select kempston joystick controls in the game.
Tap 5 to start the game.

Alternatively:

Tap "Controls" to access the controls.
Tap 5 to start the game.
Now start touching individual keys on the keyboard, trying to figure out which one does what.
Whenever you discover something, hold down the button you want to map it to (or tap it on the controls screen), then tap the appropriate key on the keyboard.
For example, hold left, tap z, hold right, tap x, hold up, tap q, tap a (the button to define), tap a (the key on keyboard) for jetpac controls.
Tap "Keyboard" to switch back to the proper keyboard, if you wish.

Alternatively (for games with redefine, not jetpac):

Tap "Controls" to access the controls.
Tap "QAOPM" to map d-pad to those keyboard keys.
Tap "Keyboard" to switch back to the proper keyboard, if you wish.
Tap whatever let's you redefine the keys in the game.
Press whatever button you desire whenever promped to define some key.
For example, when asked for "Left", press left on d-pad. When asked for "Fire", press A. Etc.

These shall cover the 99% percents of the games out there. Hope it helps.
