I have a PAL-version of ZSS that I really want to play.
Have it on a USB-stick and I have installed homebrew channel, Neogamma r7, USB Loader GX.
I had fixed the Wii before (1-2years ago) so that I could play games via USB-stick. No problem at all.

When trying to play ZSS from USB the wii starts over, I have been reading that I must use Wii sport Resort to watch a movie. I have tryed this, but every disc I have burned has not worked in the Wii. Have tryed 2 different iso-files for this game. So maybe I cant use a disc to get the movie to work, so is there another way to play this movie?

Then I saw something about install d2x CIOS, I did that, a base 56 over slot 249 just as described. After that both Neogamma and USBloaderGX cant find the USB at all!
With this option I did not need to use Wii sport resort, and did not need to use a disc...

Have been sitting 10+ hours now and its frustrating, just want the game to work.

What can I do? Do I need to install new iOS and CiOS and other things? This is confusing!

Please please, really want this to work!

Your cIOS and loaders are out of date.
Use modmii to get your softmods up to date if you are not sure what to do.
Tell modmii you are hacking your wii for the first time and follow the generated guide.
