8.8 is not a bad review and sounds about right to me.

GameSpot's reviews are always lower than others. Look at the low PS3 ratings that they gave. Madden 07 only 7.9?!? BS, I'm waiting for REAL reviews to start rolling in.

Out of 10 reviews 8.8 is the lowest with the average being 9.9/10. The Gamespot review's main bad points about the game were misplaced sound and imprecise controls, yet the other reviews say the controls are perfect...seems to me like a case of getting used to a new style of control.

this is a real hater review! I'm glad they pick it apart rather than gush all over it. The latter option doesn't help me to make an informed decision.

After all, I wasn't a big Wind Waker fan, and few people seemed to give that game the bashing it deserved. Lack of dungeons, endles sailing... blaaaaargh!

I'm glad they're being hard on it - there is a legacy to live up to, and all the launch titles are going to be picked apart! We're all fanboys who are going to buy regardless of what GAMESPOT or anyone else gives for a review.

Well the review did point out that you get the same results if you just shake the remote. Also it's more of an extended OoT than a brand new approach like Majora's Mask and Wind Waker.

8.8 is still good.

lol. Bite me. Its human nature to dislike something you disagree with. I just happen to disagree with Gamespot ALOT more than I do with IGN.

Wii-specific elements feel tacked on; graphics and sound sometimes go from nostalgic to dated.

Wow, what a shitty game. I mean sometimes that graphics aren't amazing. 1 whole point down!

And I do think that these fatties just don't want to move their jiggly arms around.
