    Hello,

First of all I am new to GbaTemp. I have an old DS Lite with an old (original) R4DS flashcard.

For YEARS I have been playing zelda Spirit tracks in my cart with a patched rom (xenophobia) and it has been allways working perfectly (except ofc when the sd card goes corrupt.. and I format it and put the backup savegames I have).

My girlfriend has a DS XL with Acekard 2i with the latest firmware (both console and flashcard) and has no problems with her savegames (they are 512kB of size btw).

Now I have updated my Wood R4 to the latest version and each time I start Spirit tracks is OVERWRITES my save game with an empty save file. The new savegame is 1024 KB and it never reads the information from my 512 KB save.

I searched around and this is what I did (none worked):

    1. Change compatibility settings of the game to force 4M size saves (NOT WORKING)
    2. Change rom extension to nds.sav and to .sav with the correct settings in the Wood R4 settings (NOT WORKING)
    3. Used my girlfriends save (512KB) with the correct settings (NOT WORKING)
    4. Used this site http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php?id=6960279 to convert HER savegame from Acekard RAW to Acecard Force 1024 (NOT WORKING)
    5. Used the same site to convert my savegame from R4 to Acekard 1024 and using on my R4 card with the correct size (NOT WORKING)

I think I've tried other combinations but I'm open for any suggestions on how to put this working correctly. I'm pulling all my hair out trying to fix this and it's KILLING ME!

(WHY DID I UPDATE THIS! ARGHH)

Well, this is new. I've never had problems with patched roms and Wood.
