This is actually more useful that you might think. Because by the time the NA or EU version is out, there still won't likely be an official Chinese version for quite a while, if at all.

From what I've heard Japanese and Chinese text is quite similar and is readable by both, ofcourse I don't speak or read Japanese or Chinese so I don't know if this is true myself or how understandable the text is.

Some (very few) words look the same, and mean similar things, but are pronounced differently.

I can beat that easily. Just give me the Japanese text to translate and I will do it in a matter days.
I can't stand in for the quality, but still, it'd be a finished translation.
