No offence but this is one fking ugly DS. What happened to the bottom? Did he think, "meh, cnt be fked to paint the rest of it, i'll just stick it on ebay"

Id rather a plain DS than this hideous thing. It looks so tacky.

Fk paying over 600 for that, you could get one for 100 and pay sum1 100 to do a much better zelda themed mod.

It looks pretty easy to make (assuming the sheild is not premade)

all it is is sprayed + led mod. pretty stupid if you ask me.

Even overall it doesn't look that nice.

Oh god not another one of those 10 dollar mods sold for 50 times their actual value, please.

Those worthless little plastic shields and swords came with a Toys'R'Us promo and were probably crazyglued on.

lol i dare you to do it then, buy some spare onyx dslites spray paint them gold (its easy just take the case apart,), and buy the zelda emblem (they are sold for $6 dollars plus shipping),

    http://www.80stees.com/products/Zelda-Pin.asp
(he got sand paper and sanded off the paint so it was metal finish)

spray paint the stylus, lol and just super glue that shit on lol.

so to recap all you would need to do a quick imitation of this is.

    1. A can of gold spray paint
    1. DS lite
    1 stylus to spray paint
    1 zelda pin
1 triwing screw driver (ds,wii, gba uses a special screw need a special screw driver)
    1 3mm phillips screwdriver
1 blade (to pry off rubber stubs covering the screws)

take the ds part and spray paint the parts you want gold,

(guide on taking your ds part and putting it back together)
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/page4/

this project would take you a 2 hours just because you are spray painting your ds shell and would want to make sure its dry.

That rotating logo will probably fall off after ten minutes of playing with it. It's only held on with a paper clip! [IMG]

I prefer a regular DS lite, like the black one I have. But I guess it's good that some of the money is going to help people.
