I wonder what happened to this "25th Anniversary of Zelda will be better than the Mario one"? The 25th year of Mario (well Mario Bros, its been longer since he appeared in Donkey Kong) Mario got Mario Galaxy, Mario & Luigi 3, a Mario Red Wii and a compilation of Mario games on a disc that was cheaply done. So far Zelda has...well a new game that was gonna be release anyway, some CD's based on some Zelda concert, a GBC port of a game that would have hit 3DS VC anyway and a port of the GBA side game.

Oh well at least they're not charging money for a rom this time.

*hopes for Four Sword Adventures 2 for Wii U*

That's cool I wonder how you will get the hurricane blade attack and sword beams.
One of my favorite parts on this game was throwing a pot on one of my friends head to make their screen go black.

I was hoping that it would be an enhanced but I suppose that doesn't matter since it's free.
Hopefully, Nintendo incorporates some form of online play. I have very few real-life friends who own a DSi/3DS and it would suck if I miss out on the multiplayer aspects of this game.

It would be great if Nintendo releases a remake of this on 3DSWare that includes wireless multiplayer. That would be awesome but I doubt that's going to happen. One can wish.

I wonder if their emulator would work with other roms....Given that the dsi gets hacked to that extent someday.

Good news since I can download it on my DSi and on my 3DS and play it with a friend when he comes over.

Don't forget that they said that they're doing Zelda concerts in a lot of regions. I'd really like to know if anyone is near where I live, though. [IMG] Yes, I know, I'm a little disappointed aswell.

Since it'll have to be adapted to the DSi local WiFi, it'll be a port, and not straight emulation.

Forgot to ask: Is the GBA game as good as the Gamecube game, because I never got a chance to play any of them?

Not really, its a good addition to Link To A Past but the GameCube one is far better feature not to mention playable when you're going solo.

Oh well, there goes the hype--at least a little of it. :/ I expected it to be multiplayer only, but why didn't they take the better version then? The parts of the GameCube game which were displayed on the GBA screen could be displayed on the other screen of the DS (assuming there's no technical limitation to this).

I think the fact that it's free gives Nintendo the excuse of making it local only.

"Oh hey, it's free, so everyone you know should have it. Why should we make it Wi-Fi? Herp derp"

No need to even debate, it'll never have Wi-Fi, I'll just download on both my DSi and 3DS and play with both DSes in my hand... [IMG]

I'll be sad if it's local multiplayer only. I only have one dsi and know no one else with one in the country...

I have the original. Never played it though. Only used it for Link to the Past.

I'll definitely play it when it is released. I'll take anything free.

I was hoping for a remake of the GC version... None of my friends have a DSi or 3DS, so I won't bother to download it...

IIRC, you couldn't play this version of Four Swords single player like its successor on the Cube. You needed to be connected to at least one other person to play.

I wonder if that's still true. [IMG]

If it's only a port, then it should be the case.

Does this mean that GBA downloads are possible then?

Wait, I just realized that this is a port of a GBA game... Then it should be rather easy to port GBA games to the Virtual Console! [IMG] Sure, it's slightly edited, but that's still awesome!
