I just got my hands on a Yu-Gi-Oh 5D Wheelie Brakers and wanted to try out Yu-Gi-OWNED. So I copied over the save file to my Wii, started the game and when the Hackmii Installer is supposed to run the screen only goes black and the disc tray light goes on.

I already did IndianaPawns before so I think I did everything right.

Are there maybe different (fixed) versions of the game? Any other idea?

You may wanna try the beta-2 of the exploit , the first release had problems with launching directly the hackmii installer.

    http://www.wiibrew.org/w/images/2/27/Yu-Gi-OWNED_Beta_2.zip

The game has to be booted at least once before you can use the exploit. If you have an existing YU-Gi-Oh 5D's save, you can optionally backup or delete it.

    1. Copy either the "private" directory of the 50Hz or the 60Hz (depends on what your wii is set to) version from the archive to the root directory of your SD Card.

    2. Place either a *.dol or *.elf file (for example HackMii Installer) in the root directory of your SD Card.

    3. Put your SD Card on your Wii.

    4. Go into Wii Options -> Data Management -> Save Data -> Wii.

    5. Go to the SD Card and move the Yu-Gi-OWNED! save to your Wii.

    6. Boot Yu-Gi-OH 5D's Wheelie Breakers.

    7. Press A and wait until the title menu shows up.

    8. Press A and you will see a loading screen. Wait a couple of seconds and your homebrew
    will be executed.

If you still have no luck , and your game is a brand new one , then maybe it's a fixed version....

Thanks, I will try beta 2 later.

So until now there's no fixed version of the game?

There's a rumor of a fixed version , but it could also be that the guys who had that supposedly fixed version didn't do correctly the process...

Tried beta 2 and now I get a green screen. Any ideas?

EDIT: I'm using a SDHC card. Could that be the problem?

Yeah Indiana pwnz, Twilight hack and Yu-gi-oh exploits doesn't support sdhc card... Twilight Hack is too old but support for sdhc could actually be introduced into Indiana pwnz and Yu-gi-oh using a chain loader... You should try with a sd card.
