i just brought a Psvita 3.60 for only Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (U) and YS origin Now it useless PSVITA and PC Release delay what a pain in Neck
I have a question if I buy a game YS VIII can i play this game on psvita 3.60? can i dump game with maidump and Share it ?

you can't even download it on 3.60,however if you download it on 3.65 then use the memory card on 3.60 and used software to unlink the frameware lock,you can have the bubble on 3.60 and you can dumb it,but you still can't play it because the game requires 3.61+ update.
but maybe someone can use the english asset on the japanese version to have english sub,or even from the PC asset to japanese vita version.
Well then update to current and buy the games you want to play, duh.
Just dumping US or EU cartridge release on 3.60 and port eng files to JAP version that can play Henkaku. It would be great.

Yes. The Japanese Ys VIII came out in July 2016, about a week before the first version of HENkaku was released.
Man, sick of so much delay in localized releases.
Just hope the price drop fast on the ps4 copy to snag one for cheap.

Ok I get it now just purchase the game US or EU cartridge and dump it with 3.60 is that right ? And
i can't port Us to Jap and don't know any thing about porting
You can buy it, dump the English assets, and hope someone makes them work with the Japanese version of the game.
When you see the price of new games, it's not the end of the world to buy a second (second hand) vita that you keep with the last official firmware. That's the price of 2 new games. If you want to play western 3.60+ games, you'll have to. And you support the last editors working on vita titles

Full english has been available for about a month now, and almost two weeks for Dragon Quest. Those are not the release names, but you get the idea.

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1
