Topic moved. You have been told enough times. This is not news. This crap just clutters up USN.

This is news, and has been reported by PlayStation Access on twitter.

On a side note, I can't find the word to describe a moderator who considers members' contribution as "crap". I think this would be my last contribution to this lovely site, until there are more mature and professional moderators in power.

You might want to read the "Noteworthy" section.

I'm not a mod, but I agree this is not worthy of a news post.

In fact I'm the one that reported some of your earlier threads like this, and they're partially what prompted me to make the guide I just linked you.

Actually, piss off TwinRetro, I am going to discuss this crap.

Dang this 1.01 update is slightly more stable than the 1.00 original that was released yesterday. I am so glad masterchan777 made this thread so I can discuss the stability of this incremental update. The thread in USN that was posted yesterday should be closed because it is irrelevant now that 1.01 has been released.

mmmmmmm so stable.

yep

Meanwhile the YouTube app isn't even available on the UK store yet. ;O;

It's worth the wait. The youtube app on the vita blows the app on Android and iOS out of the water. The only thing I would ask for is the ability to upload videos from the Vita itself.

By the way, what's your PSN?

I'd like the ability to download videos for on the go, and it's PKSeven.

Considering masterchan is UK located if his flag is anything to go by, it should be.
I'd expected it to be, but I haven't found it yet. I'll keep checking.

EDIT: Found it. The search didn't help at all.

Oh wow really. I don't have a Vita but it sounds interesting.

It's probably the best Youtube app I've used, but as mentioned, my only requests are that you can upload your own videos and I'd also like it to conjoin with the web browser so whenever you click a Youtube link or a Youtube video, it goes to the app and opens it.

Let's have them improve the browser while they're at it.

Whatever Sony, an "app" that allows me to do something I can do already on just about any device with a web browser doesn't make me suddenly forget that I bought your system at launch and still have nothing to play on it.

Yes, let's get angry at Sony for your oversight.

Sorry but if you bought the system at launch without looking at upcoming titles or the current line up and not finding anything interesting, then you deserve to be stuck with your $250+ money hole. Fortunately I enjoy my Vita and got it about a month after launch so I'm not complaining.

Somebody needs to buy Gravity Rush.

Or WipEout 2048.

Or Escape Plan.

Or Super Stardust Delta.

Or Frobisher Says!

Or one of the other games around.

>crying over a device getting added functionality for free beyond what was available when you first bought it

Look just because the Vita isn't deluged with the type of trash you like to play don't knock this (now more stable than ever) app. If you wanted to play endless pet owning simulators and imagine reporter/nurse/vet/hairdresser type games you should have just stuck with your DS and not gotten a mature manly console like the Vita.

God damn.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.

Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
