Hello.:)

Since I no longer found any picture of it,i made it by myself as good as possible I remember on it:

Toyota Starlet 1979:
(I drove it from 1987 -1992 then the car goes for another 2 years to Romania to a friend)

I paid 1090 Euro for it (I buyed it from my Dad),730 Euro for the Driver´s License,73 Euro for Registration and of course another 500 Euros for the Car Insurance (for a year).Everything paid by my own money.:)

You are welcome to post YOUR creations or original pictures from your first car ("Oldtimers" prefered.....:D).

Thank you.:)

Used to own a Mazda 323c from '96 back in '12, kept it in me possession until '15
1.5l DOHC inline 4.
Managed to get it up to 190km/h.

Only thing I did to it was swap the bonnet for a new one and replace the rear exhaust with a Sebring sport one.

I still miss that car if I have to be honest.
Such a lovely thing.

Edit: bought it at 269500 km and scrapped it when it reached 349542 km.
Not bad for a 700 quid car!

Bought a 1982 Volkswagen Quantum in 1987. My friends would have to help push when it wouldn't start. A unyielding driver broadsided it, totaling it in '89. Ah, the memories!

First car that was given to me was an old 92 (I think?) Toyota Corolla, was a gross maroon color and had like 130+k miles on it when I got it

Engine ended up dying on it, my sister had to borrow it for a few weeks and didn't realize the thing had a substantial oil leak, so it ended up seizing.

First car I bought with my own money was a 2003 Lincoln Aviator, bought in 2016 with only 70k miles on it or thereabouts. t****** ended up dying in that just a few months ago, $2.5k to fix and had a few other issues that made it not really worth to fix.

My ex's parents bought us a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix in 2010 for $250 or something like that. It lasted a while until the fuel system failed one day. Luckily she was enrolled in the Michigan Works program, who paid for it to be repaired. It was another year ortwo before the head gasket blew and we ended up scrapping it for about the same price it was bought for.

I paid 800 euros to get it it was 250 000 Km that is not a lot this kind of car ( thay usually run up to 600 000 Km and some 1 000 000 Km XD )

As a young driver, insurance was really expensive ( 1200 euros / year )

this is what I consider my first car that I bought with my money not my parents car that I got to use, I drove 200 miles than stole her for $6,500 with only 35k on her, I still have her (Heidi) and she is a pocket rocket but now she sleeps in a garage

Damn Porsche 944s are actually pretty decent cars. Ever had the itch to do an engine swap?

she is a turbo .. "Ever had the itch to do an engine swap?" maybe 20 years ago ;), the big thing was to bore out the engine and get these things up to 1000hp but at that point she would be more of a track car and you would have to redo so much. I bought a kit for the car that added 2 bars of more turbo and brought her under 500hp which was a blast my God the speed you can take turns in this car  unfortunately where I live the streets and highways are terrible. Only around 25k built should only be around 10k left in the world so this princess will live a Sunday's life

I was very close to buying a 69 Mustang Shelby Cobra at the time which I found down South but needed a lot of work today that car is worth $$$ but those older cars are pigs on the road and can only go straight

my first car was a blue, ford probe 1995. I loved that car, even naming it Julia after John Lennon's mother. I was forced to sell it for parts three years ago or so. the car got to the point where it would constantly die unless you tap on the accelerator, so it was pretty terrifying at traffic lights.

You probably have a daily driver, so why not make her a full blown street-able track toy? No offense but porsche pundits only like the 911s, and the 944 is heavily overshadowed by 964 etc.

944s have such great potential.

You can make them turn! Detroidspeed have some great suspension packages that give them insane lateral grip.

944 with its 50/50 balance the more turns on a track the better

yeah every race shop I go by I usually find one 944 very popular on the east coast

'77 MGB. Parents bought it, for $3000 IIRC. It was a blast to drive, but a total piece of shit. Sold it just a few months later, and bought a 1978 Firebird with the money. Kept that car for 5-6 years.

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
