How your eyes vision?
I wear glasses. I'm nearsighted, I can focus clearly if I'm about 9 inches away from something. I thought about having laser surgery done, but something about having little slits cut into my eyes just makes me a bit wary.
I long for the day problems like this can be genetically fixed, but then that's a whole 'nother can of worms, eh?
But even genetically, such problems could only be fixed in advance, not retroactively. Meaning, you would be able to ensure your children won't be nearsighted or have astigmatism, but you wouldn't be able to cure yourself. Your only options are either glasses, or red-hot pokers in the eyes (laser surgery).
Or contact lenses, but those are more trouble than they're worth, and the only thing making me still wear those instead of gigantic nerdy glasses fixed with Selotape is my vanity. Bah.
Perfect sight here. Can read a licence plate from a great distance.
Never had to wear glasses!
I don't wear glasses, but I think I need them. I can't read stuff from a distance.
I is got 20/20 in one eye and 21/20 in other. Nae bad eh? Me used ta wear glasses cos wis near-sighted, but then got surgery and nae regret one bit. That wis boot 2 years ago. Wis done in less than five minutes and then ta da wis cured.
Only bastard thing is cost boot $3000.00 for surgery and post op treats, otherwise is nae need glasses as soon as wake up cos me see perfect nae bother. Even now, I sees ya all ahahahaha
Ridiculously good. My party trick's reading small text posters and restaurant menu boards from the opposite side of the room.
very good eyes here thank god because i would not look right with glasses.
My eyesight is good.
And thegame07, that's what contact lenses are for.
My eyesight is awful, I'm 'advised' not to wear contact lenses because if I damage one of my eyes it won't heal properly, and laser eye surgery is way beyond anything I can afford. I only ever wear my glasses in the car though (they make me look awful) so I'm almost blind for 90% of the time.
contact lenses never heard of the things
Perfect vision here.
I'm pretty surprised by the number of people who say that they have no vision problems. In my experience, the vast majority of people that I've encountered have had to wear either glasses or contacts. And I would expect the results of this poll to be even more skewed to the "I've got bad eyes" side due to my perception that people who hang out on message boards talking about "backing up" video games would probably be more "dorkish." I've got issues with stereotyping, you see.
Also, as far as contacts are concerned, I know that they're really not so bad for a lot of people. I would *never* be able to put something in my eyes, but some people have no problem with the process. My girlfriend, for instance, can either put in or take out her contacts in 5 seconds flat.
Got glasses since a month now
I only "need" them when driving, but I still can see quite well without them
Where is the "I'm laz0red!" choice? Not that it applies to me...
Alright. Who's the wise guy who managed to somehow direct their mouse to "I'm completely blinds." Lies make the baby Jesus cry.
Mine's pretty perfect, but when I went on vacation, I saw things kinda hazy from afar. Doctor said it was because of the sand and dirt in my eyes, so I used eyedrops and now they're cool again.
I can't vote because none of those apply to me. I have an eye disorder called Keratoconus pretty bad in my right eye and not too bad in my left eye. So I'm more like 75% left and 20% right eye.
The picture on this page is what I see out of my right eye.
But I make the best of it. I still play baseball and basketball thanks to my left eye.
There are tools for blind people to navigate the web. No idea how barrier free GBAtemp is, though...
I used to have perfect eyes. For some reason after 16, I started wearing glasses. There was no one in my family that has poor vision. My mother blames it on me staring at a CRT monitor 15 hours a day. To top it off, the Army said I was colourblind. I was banned from beining in the infantry unit as I will have a hard time not only think of what will trick a normal person's eye or spot the enemy.
My eyes are horrible, I can't even read size 12 font placed about 7 inches away from my face. I'm getting contacts soon.
