I´m working on HD Peachs Gardens right now. Here are some screenshots:

The driver´s texture is made by Stewie1.0

But I have some problems: The background is sometimes in front of the map objects and makes them invisible and some textures (like in the last screenshots) appear invisible in a certain view... I have no idea how to solve this problems...

Without using official tools, you can't do anything.

- Added animated boost pads (Thanks to Baoulettes)

- (re)moved most trees

- fixed a transparency bug

No, they can't. The oinly one that actually works so far is N64 Frappe Snowland, and Pablo/Stewie dont know what they did but for some reason it works. Download play does work, though.

My nex custom track should be ready in about a week...

You guys probably already know what that is. Should I keep all of the course accessible (for exploration), or fence it off?
