no you don't have to, ux0:tai is being used by default. if ux0:tai doesn't exist taihen will use the config in ur0:tai

and inserted this line under *KERNEL -> ur0:tai/nonpdrm.skprx

My nonpdrm.skprx file is un ur0 > tai folder

My game is in the standard format (Mai Can pick up and read it, but i don't want it dumped by mai)

there is no standard format. there's vitamin, maidumptool and nonpdrm. if it's dumped by vitamin or mai you can install it with the install option in maidumptool.
if it's dumped by nonpdrm you simply put the game folder in ux0:app and refresh the livearea.(with the nonpdrm plugin active of course)

What do you mean when you say "nonpdrm game" ? Are there steps that need to be taken before i put the game in my vita?

The game has not been edited by vitamin or maidump. Went from my PC to the app folder via USB transfer.

The game's folder name is PCSG00608.

Is there something I may be missing?

just put it in ux0:app and select the refresh livearea option in vitashell..

the tai install files have been moved to uro:/tai only people who have used older versions would already have it on uxo but it really doesn't matter the location as long as the config.txt file points to the correct file locations

did you make this game with nps browser or just download a random dump online thinking it would work?

then either the plugin is not active or the game is not in nonpdrm format!

if you installed the plugin correctly and rebooted after that then the game is not in nonpdrm format.

I can't find one nonpdrm dump of Tokyo Xanadu online only mai dumps so I'm just going to assume you are trying to install a mai game as a nonpdrm game
