If you have the EU version on you US console, Don't do it cuz it wont start the game due the patch v16 got mixed with this new patch and that's why wont start.

to fix it, delete the v16 update and install it again.

Update v32 EU version is out too so.

It's 99.9% likely to be safe. Nintendo has abandoned this console already, there probably won't be another update. Ever.
