This program sounds pretty ... stupid. You don't need this to help you induce lucid dreaming.

Ah, but does it work? None of you have actually tried yet and let's face it, this program is an aid to doing something, it's not going to wow you by running it out of context.

I check my watch a lot during the day, so I end up checking it in my dreams.

I usually notice if something is off when I do that in my dreams, and that helps me enter lucid dreaming quite easily.

The main problem I see with this is that people will spend more time playing games on their ds than looking at this program, so it won't happen in their dreams at all probably...

The easiest way to enter lucid dreaming is to perform a reality check every once in a while, while you are awake, and you will find yourself doing it in your dreams too...

BTW Lucid dreams rock! Only problem is that they are really easy to wake up from.

The idea is silly if you haven't seen the PC version yet.

So, basically, Lucid Dreaming is having a dream, but knowing the you are in fact dreaming? That might seem pretty cool, as you can manipulate your dream world as you please...

I wish I could lucid dream all the time, I'd be blowing heads off zombies all night long with my dual semi-auto shotguns of doom.

Actually, it is not a load of crap. I lucid dream all the time, and remember multiple dreams everyday. I thought it was normal until I started asking others about their dreams. They told me that they did not remember very many dreams. Some people did not even remember a single dream in three days worth of sleeping. I was very surprised, so I did some research on it. (And came to the conclusion that lucid dreaming and remember dreams is not incredibly common.)

And for those of you who think it is a "load of crap", enjoy completely wasting a third to a fourth of your life sleeping and not getting a damn thing out of it.

Hell, you are on a gaming forum, yet you are missing out on the best game system imaginable, your own brain.
It is interesting because each dream has varying degrees of control. Some I cannot control, but I recognize what is happening, some I can control 90%, while others are governed by annoying rules. For example, flying can be difficult as hell, or the trigger of a gun can be difficult to pull, or bullets will curve, or no matter what, you can never find a sword to protect yourself with.

What is especially fun is having the same dream multiple times. In the first dream, you have no control. The second time, you know where to go to avoid danger/problems/whatever. The third time, you confront the dangers/problems and kick their ass like it is nothing. I love those. I get them with dinosaurs a lot. First time, they kill everyone, and everyone is running in panic. Second time, I know where the dinosaur will attack, so I try to hide people in safe places. Third time, I push the dinosaur onto traintracks, or lift it up and break its legs. Anyway, beats the hell out of school and work definitely.

Side note: People in Japan always tell me that remembering your dreams means that you are not sleeping well. Not sure if that is correct or not. But it appears to be a common belief there.

Anyway, if I were you I would not dismiss lucid dreaming. It can be a lot of fun, and has many benefits. (And again, the idea of wasting years of your life sleeping is really depressing.) I sleep about 6 hours a day, which is 1/4 of a day. Which means I am sleeping a total of 91.25 days out of a year. So if I live for 60 years, I will have spent a total of 15 years sleeping.

    Depressing as hell.

I never dismissed it, I just don't know how this program can make you lucid dream at all.

From the sound of it, you're supposed to start it while you're asleep =P
