Gaming Yoshi's Island - Different colored eggs

Is there a reason for the different colored eggs?

you mean between the gold and green 1's, i think theres also a red one not sure.
the gold one give you a coin when it breaks, and the red one just rebounds of everything it hits for a while then breaks

havent played the ds game but thats what they did in the snes one. hope that helps

I believe the red egg gives up two stars.

probably havent played in a long time, but it does bounce a lot

Green has 3 bounces before it breaks.
Yellow has 2 bounces before it breaks and gives you a coin if it hits something.
Red has 1 bounce before it breaks and gives you two stars if it hits something.

These three eggs change color when they bounce ff a wall. green > yellow > red. You can turn your green ones into reds if you do it right.

Flashing ones just break when they hit anything and give you a red coin.

Giant eggs make a big THUMP which damages enemies on the ground.

The little crily guys come back to you after you throw them.

Did I miss any?

I was wondering that myself. I guess I never noticed the bounce thing because I usually hit what I aim at...
