(Holy molly i meant FAT not fast baka moi) the thing is, i have alot of things inside my internal HDD of my FAT ps3, the hdd is around 250gb/ or 320gb i dont remember. haven't really checked. but i have alot of games copied into it, and it is basically important to me that if i were to replace it with a Slim. the reason why i want to replace my FAT ps3 is because lately it keeps overheating again and again and it is getting really tiring. iirc. i had YLOD on it for like just once, but it fixed itself somehow and was good again. but nowadays it is starting to overheat again and this obviously will turn into YLOD if i were to keep it on. it starts overheating right after like 5 minutes, at times it happens after 30minutes. one more thing guys, well about my FAT ps3 i have Rogero CFW + Cobra mode enabled (for ps2 isos) and i use webman , i do not have that advanced fan control thingie on, so that is not the fault of the console overheating. but one thing i want to say is, that over the last couple of days i filled up the internal hdd with some more ps2 isos, so i copied around 20gigs onto it, and i had aroudn 28gb still left, and after that a day passed and it started overheating, i thought maybe that copying so many games into the internal hdd has triggered the overheating , or do you think it has nothing to do with it ? now to my final question (sorry to make this thread so complicated!) if i were to replace my FAT with a new Slim ps3, and lets say the slim has already CFW on it, can't i just swap my internal HDD into the Slim one so that i still have all of my data? or how exactly am i supposed to go with backing up / restoring the data from my internal hdd of the fat into the slim ? thanks !
