Homebrew Yellows8 adds support for 10.3 menuhax?

Nintendo patched the home menu to get rid of the vulnerability, for some reason Yellows8 keeps building the new payloads even though they won't work (see here)

There isn't really a reason to, just because a thread is "useless" doesn't automatically mean that a mod should lock it... If you lock it and someone has a question then they have to make a new thread, creating further clutter when someone could have just bumped this thread, gotten their answer and gone on their way....

EDIT: also consider the load on the mods... If you have a large forum (like this one) and every time a thread becomes "useless" they have to lock it then it would become a frantic dash to lock all of the threads, then lock the threads when someone has a question about whatever thread was locked, if you really look at it it's unrealistic to lock all of the threads
