After seeing pictures of it on the internet, I decided to construct my own. So here is my own NES MP3 controller. I call it prototype version one since I haven't gotten round to fitting a mini USB port yet.

You may notice that it doesn't have a LCD screen on it. That's because the MP3 I bought was cheap and didn't include it.

Insides now.

Another reason why the MP3 player was cheap was because it only has 3 buttons.

Prototype 2 will be made soon...

nice, but how do you load songs into it?
Hence why I decided to name it prototype one. I ordered some of the mini usb female ports you see on the PSP and such but the problem I'm having is when I decide to solder wires from where the old USB port was onto the said mini usb. The wires keeps snapping because they're so thin. And the battery is non-rechargable so if it runs out, I'm going to have to take it apart and solder a new one. Trying to get a rechargable battery and make it recharge via USB

Cool, although a MP3 player could be a lot smaller, and maybe when you put it in your pocket the buttons will be pressed accidentally? =/
