    hello all!

Quick question. I have a wii with a cyclowiz and I HAVE indeed been able to play all DL based DVD games thus far.

My question is this. Has anyone been able to change the region on the disk of xenoblade PAL to NTSC and have it work? I plan to:

    - Mod the ISO with regionfrii from PAL to NTSC
    - Use brickblocker to remove the update
    - Burn the disk with (what works on my wii) DL-DVD with imageburn layerbreak set to what the other DL wii games are (I forget but I can look it up)

Will that work? The only reason I ask is because sometimes when using regionfrii, the games wont boot and I wanted to see if this game can go from PAL to NTSC.

    THANKS ALL!!

Sounds like a lot more trouble than just using USB loading.

It's still unclear if forcing the game to NTSC video mode let's you play the game. You need a report from somebody who has it working with any loader, that the game works when forcing NTSC480i without any video mode patches. And of course your system menu needs to like region freed discs, so i think it needs to be 4.1 or lower, or you need priiloader(recommend if you have 4.2 or 4.3).

Not if you don't even have HBC.

Yeah, I just know that some games work with a chip when you mod the region of the ISO and some dont.

I just dont want to waste a DL DVD to find out if anyone has.

    Thanks!

The game works for me if I use my standard composite cables forcing the video to 480i NTSC. Game also works when I use my Component cables with default pal and forcing to 480p NTSC

This and to region free the disc are expected to get the same results.
