Xemu original Xbox emulator's new v0.5 update adds audio support, better BIOS compatibility

Progress on Xbox emulation is coming along, as the team behind the emulator xemu have released a new update. The fledgling original Xbox emulator has reached version 0.5, which adds a variety of new features, most interesting of which being that it can play sound now, because as of this new update, xemu has preliminary audio support. There's a video that showcases some of the additions and the emulator's current performance, with titles like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Ninja Gaiden Black, and Halo: Combat Evolved running in a somewhat playable state. It's an impressive feat for the notoriously sparse Xbox emulation scene, and the emulator is coming along nicely towards its eventual full v1.0 release one day.

eh, often on multiplatform games the Xbox version was better, so even if there are a lot of titles rn you can emulate on PCSX2 instead, once Xemu advances in development it'd be the better experience

Pyschonauts for example has problems is any version that's not the PS4 or Xbox one. Although the PS4 version has the patch to make the last part of the game slightly easier.

Cxbx-Reload is The BEST emulator Because it actually works vs xemu which strangely was working yesterday but the next days decides to not load games, now just sits there. I searched for endless hours all over the web and there is nothing on this one yet. The only good thing about xemu vs Cxbx-R is as at least it does the loadup with the xbox symbol at the beginning like a real xbox does, and I think all emulators should do that.
