Hardware Xbox slim 4gb

What options are there for extra storage on a slim 4gb model.
Can one just slap in a 2.5 hdd in one of those $5 cases off ebay?
Or use/modify a old phat xbox hard drive?
Or will a flash memory stick (16gb, etc) work just as well?
Or anything else I have missed?

You can't just stick any old 2.5" into a case. Only one that will work is one of the western digital scorpio series and you have to modify it first and you're limited to official drive sizes.
Hdd from old style xbox will work, you just have to remove it from it's case.
USB hdd/flash stick up to 16GB will work.

You'll need to use HDDHackr to hack a Scorpio drive to a 360 drive.

Max size you can get is 320 GB.
