Xbox One Release Date is 22/11/13 - Day 1 Pre-orders still available

Microsoft have just announced the Xbox One's release date. Mark down November 22nd in your calendars!
Day 1 preorders are still available.

The November 22 date applies to the following regional markets:

Australia
Austria
Brazil
Canada
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Mexico
New Zealand
Spain
UK
USA

More will follow in 2014

A couple other interesting tidbits of news, European preorders of the one have shot up 200% since gamescom, and the One has exceeded more preorders then any other Microsoft product.
Looks like it may not be Doug as Terrible as people like to think. But will it beat out its competitions? That remains to be seen~

Huh, I heard that Microsoft was scrambling to get their release data at least ahead of the PS4's. Guess not.

Only time will tell if it's the Xbox One-week-too-late.

Well it's a week earlier in Europe as we don't get PS4 until the 29th so this seems to be a strategy to poach some PS fans as Europe is the biggest market.

The only game that took my attention until now is Forza 5, but only two steering wheels are confirmed until now, both without clutch pedal and shifter, so a player will have more imersive gameplay and realism with forza 4 than forza 5 at day one

I wonder how they are going to market this thing at TGS the week after next.

As for the 11/22 launch it may pan out ok, but the reports of heating issues make me concerned that the XBO may be a bit rushed.

I Believe they said that the reason the release date is now announced is because they were busy working on many different thing on the console (fixing their online policies and most likely tweaking the system to help the overheat issue.)

That was fast, I have a bad feeling that there will be a huge update on top of the update upon powering on that will be in order so things will work properly which may end in a debacle similar to the WiiU.

It's annoying the old wheels won't work with it.

microsoft sucks big times.

its not the hardware i dont like, its ms itself.

some people will now jump at me ... no, i´m not using windows, no i´m not using ms office.
There is this thing called linux, it free, it works! And there is this other thing called openoffice, its free and yea, it works pretty well too.

The features they want to work will work certainly. its spying on us. collecting data. =)
that also shows the list where its launched first compare it to snowdens list of high profile spying targets and you get a decent match

they had no other choice else things would be even worse for them.
ms and nsa are very tight.

call me paranoid, i dont mind. a decent portion of paranoia is quite healthy.
