Halo Infinite's multiplayer beta has been going on for about two weeks now and, while reception has been mostly positive, its Battle Pass has come under fire for its slow progression. Developer 343 has already made several changes to the system, including increasing the XP payout for the first six matches in a day, increasing the length of 2XP bonuses, adding daily rewards for playing your first game, and other weekly challenges. However, in a
blog post today confirming
Halo Infinite's arrival on Game Pass on launch day, Microsoft also announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will be receiving monthly bonus packs for
Infinite, and the first one includes four extra Double XP tokens, along with four Challenge Swaps and a gun coating.
There was no mention of whether the XP boosts would be a fixture of the monthly perks, but as long as the general playerbase is underwhelmed by the progression in
Infinite, locking XP bonuses behind the priciest Game Pass tier will likely prove a controversial choice.
