Microsoft has announced which games fans can expect to see added to Xbox Game Pass this month. Joining the Game Pass catalog in the month of August will be a set of three games, with more set to arrive later. Creatures of Ava is an indie game where you need to explore the world in order to tame and rescue fantasy creatures, with a release date of August 7th. On the following day, Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy will arrive on the service, bringing a remaster of the first three Crash titles. Mafia: Definitive Edition will be playable for Game Pass users on August 13th.

With the addition of these games, four others will be leaving Xbox Game Pass, on August 15th. These games are:

• Offworld Trading Company
• The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
• Airbone Kingdom
• Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition

Why don't they make a new Crash cart game that is a crossover with Rare's Banjo cart game. Rare doesn't make those kind of games anymore so it'd have to be pimped out to another dev, but how hard could it possibly be to nail the look and feel of these old N64/PSX racing games. Pack it full of all the IP Microsoft now own actually, give Mario Kart a run for its money.

Looking at a company view, this Crash Trilogy could be considered as 3 games. Combining with these 2, It's 5 games.

So i believe they're looking at this way, taking out 4 and putting 5

I cancelled my game pass membership, the value just isn't there anymore. It is cheaper for me to buy the games I want instead of keeping a subpar subscription.
It's a shame because game pass use to be the bees knees

That's the 2020 remake of the first one, honestly it looks quite good.. Gameplay-wise, nothing much as it's quite simplistic, people play it mainly for the story. so if you into story-driven games you should check it out (if the Mafia/ 1930's setting's something you'd enjoy).

With "Games with Gold" you got to keep the games (as long as you were subscribed to any tier). Same with PS+.

No they usually add 6 to 8 games every month, those 3 are just the ones announced so far. Currently there is over 400 games available on Gamepass.

You got to keep them if they were 360 titles, but One/Series you only have access as long as subscribed.

I don't see the logic behind this, if it's really like that. i mean if i am a Game Pass subscriber those games are available to me to download and play from the start (and until im not a GP subscriber), and these "free" games are/do basically the same?

Yea all the games are included as long as you are subscribed. You even get EA Play for free with Gamepass Ultimate which includes 70+ EA games also.
