Xbox and PlayStation could be uniting for cross-play.

This now is on Sony's hands if they allow for cross-play with Microsoft's Xbox One systems which would be honestly an awesome plan so that console gamers'd finally get together and put the whole "Console Wars" behind.

It'd also be great if Nintendo could join in too, oh wait.. They don't have any third party support left.

Sony would be stupid to say no so my assumption is that it's gonna happen. Now that consoles are essentially cheaper, simplified PCs you might as well let people on different platforms to play online together like PC gamers have been doing for decades. It's a very silly, outdated restriction.

Why the hell would Sony want this? They're sitting pretty right now, so they really have no reason to extend a hand to Microsoft, especially when they're their main competitor and last generation wasn't exactly a landslide. The Console Wars work handily in their favor.

Chances are PC gamers would be more likely to lose against Console gamers than the other way around.
