Anyone knows how to remove the silver warranty sticker without voiding the warranty?
I mean some places here give you warranty if you flash your 360 to them.

Some people claim that it started to crack.
Never read that they successfully did.
Maybe those shops find these stickerrs from somewhere.

I want to flash it with ixtremefirmware on my own and keep the warranty.
Those cheaters want 120 euro to flash it and 1 year warranty.

Don't bother trying to remove it, just pull the 360 apart and the sticker should stay intact, I've done this with quite a few 360's without damaging the warranty sticker. I've also used the hairdryer method which also works.

Yeah it stays stuck onto the top most part of the clip as you slide the casing apart. I've opened mine a few times and it's always stayed on the top shell.

Thanks.
One last question i have tutorials on how to flash xtremefirmware on the samsung drive my 360 has.
Is the same procedure for the ixtremfirmeware?
I want to put this as it is recommended if you use the xbox live.

I've heard from one of my friends who does quite a few 360 mods that if the sticker is ruined, you can buy a new one on ebay. Apparently, they get the serial and other info from you and print off an exact replica.

Do the warranty stickers have the serial number on them?

Mine was just a littel strip that said "microsoft" on it.
I ripped it off without a second thouhgt.

the latest stickers are very very easy to take off, all you gotta do is get a hairdryer and leave it facing the sticker (while its on) for about 2 minutes

then get a stanley knife and carefully peal it off slowly, no residue etc will be left on the xbox.

the old stickers (shiny silver ones) are abit harder as they might leave some residue but take your time with them

The funny thing is that I made a warranty sticker thread yesterday (nor last year) and it was still on the first page

And to answer your question, yes that was the warranty sticker. The little older models have a sliver long one that has the Microsoft logo on it, nothing else.

I know mate, I saw that thread too. This one was top of the 2nd page of the 360 subforum.

I'll let it die, i've found one on ebay for £10 now anyways....

sorry for the back-from-the-dead thread.
