Xbox 360 tops March home console sales in the US

Xbox 360 was the "No.1 console in the US in March 2011, based on console and software sales", according to NPD data released by Microsoft.

433,000 360 units were sold, compared to 290,000 Wii units, 400,000 3DS units and 460,000 DS units[/p]

New Pokemon game syndrome is still going on the DS. Also the 3DS has a hell of a pricepoint. People looking for some quick handheld fun will go for the DS as its half the price. It still sold well though. 400,000 units in your first month is not to be sniffed at. Then again the dying DS has sold 460,000 but there's like 5 models all factored into that price.

Those numbers are heavily inflated and inaccurate...the 360 did come in first place in home console sales, but it sold no where near 400,000 consoles in the month of March. According to VGChartz the 360 sold just under 290,000 consoles in March 2011. Also the 3DS only selling 400,000 units in March is not the handheld not selling well, I mean it was only out for 5 days in the month of March so basically 80,000 units per day.

I believe it, everyone I know at school talks more about the 360 more then the PS3 or Wii.
And not just in school but a lot I know out of school owns one and not the others.
(I'm even getting me a 360 this weekend because I'm done playing my sisters)
