if you want a hdd specifically made for the slim, your only option is to spend the 130usd and pick up the microsoft 250GB hdd

Well then I think your S O L. I'm pretty sure that the 250gb model is the only one available for the slim at the moment.

Edit: those ones are not official so you are now contradicting yourself. Officaly made and released for the slim that is.

The 20GB, 60GB, and 120GB slim ones are all just old HDD's without their casings.

Well, thanks for your compliment. The drives you found on eBay are probably made in China versions and they might get you banned, the only official at the moment is the 250GB version. Maybe you should just have bought the normal Slim?

You will not get banned. You can't get banned for using third party HDDs.

How much space do you need? Personally I would buy the 250GB because it's only about 8 bucks more than the 60GB, and 20GB is too small.

Sorry about the banning, I wasn't sure, that's why I said "might", but you should get a HDD that suits your needs. So do you need a HDD and if yes, how much space do you need? Depends on whether you install a lot of games, videos, etc.

I agree with fudgenuts64, only if you would take the 20GB it would be a real difference, otherwise I'd get the 250GB version.

If you plan on installing your games I would definitely buy the 250GB HDD.

You'll still need to use the disc, but the loading times will be less lengthy and the 360 will be less noisy.

20GB might be sufficient if you won't install any games, but if you want to install them in the future I would go with the 250GB HDD.

If you plan on downloading a lot of DLC, go for one that is bigger than 20GB.
