I'll be getting a 360 Pro and was wondering how to make it read backups?

Anyone got info about the 360 hacking scene? do you need a mod chip for backups? etc...

but to answer your question, you do not need a modchip.

You may need a modchip, it depends on what drive you have. The latest Hitachi drive does require a passkey for it to be seen by your computer. All other drives should be pretty straight forward though.
